Clenergy continues to make great strides in the Central African solar photovoltaics (PV) market, with its PV-ezRack SolarTerrace I chosen as the mounting solution for the 25MW government project in the Central African Republic (CAR). Located in Danzi, 17 km North-West of Bangui, the country’s capital city, it is the first solar PV project in the area.<\/p>\n
The CAR has one of the lowest rates of electricity access in Africa. Only 14.3% of the population has access to electricity, with rates ranging from approximately 35% in Bangui to about 0.4% in rural areas.<\/p>\n
The project, under the ownership of the Ministry of Development of Energy and Hydraulic Resources, financed by the World Bank, and installed by Shanxi Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. and CEEC Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. is expected to alleviate power shortages significantly and improve living conditions in the country.<\/p>\n

The PV-ezRack\u00ae SolarTerrace\u2122 I by Clenergy is a ground mounting system widely used in large-scale power station installations. Its aluminium-magnesium-zinc coating allows extra durability and high corrosion resistance while being cost-effective.<\/p>\n
